About the role
TL;DR
Lead APAC sales, build a team, and drive GTM strategy to double ARR for a Kubernetes virtualization platform.
- •As vCluster’s Regional Sales Director, you will build the engine of a category-defining company, owning the Go-to-Market strategy for the APAC region and doubling ARR.
- •You will lead a team selling a mission-critical platform to sophisticated Engineering, DevOps, and AI leaders.
- •Key Responsibilities Recruit, hire, and lead a regional team of Enterprise and Strategic AEs, fostering their professional growth and building a high-performance culture.
- •Operationalize "Land & Expand" motions and drive a relentless focus on pipeline generation and outbound excellence.
- •Act as a "player-coach" on the region's largest opportunities and partner on regional field events and demand generation.
- •Ensure high forecast accuracy and rigor, utilizing frameworks like MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
- •Requirements 8+ years of sales leadership experience, specifically within Kubernetes, AI infrastructure, or high-growth cloud platforms.
- •Proven experience as a "Series A/B" builder who has successfully scaled sales teams from early stages.
- •Technically fluent in the cloud-native ecosystem and able to engage with CTOs or Lead Platform Architects.
- •Strong pipeline mentality with a proven system for encouraging, tracking, and maintaining a "hunting" culture.
- •Excellent communication and negotiation skills with C-level executive presence.
