About Rocketlist

I'm Federico, and I built Rocketlist because I could not find a tool that let me actually read every relevant job, without wading through recruiter spam first.

After running my last company SCAILE for two years (B2B SaaS, around $600K ARR, raised $400K, team of ten), I went looking for what's next. Every job platform I tried showed me the same vague picks. LinkedIn was 80% recruiter outreach. Otta is good for senior tech roles in three cities. Wellfound and Welcome to the Jungle were prettier but still hit-or-miss.

So I built the tool I wish existed.

What Rocketlist does differently

Every job gets scored 0 to 100 against your profile across six dimensions: category, skills, experience, location, domain, and compensation. Same input, same score. Nothing hidden.

We refresh roles daily from eight ATS platforms (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, Personio, Recruitee, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Join). Around 19,000 active jobs right now.

Candidates pay nothing, ever. The business model is paid for by companies in a later phase. Recruiters can't buy your inbox. Your current employer can't see you are looking. Privacy is the default, not an upgrade.

Who's behind it

I'm based between Hamburg and San Francisco, building from f.inc, the SF founder program. Before SCAILE I studied at Nova SBE Lisbon and KLU Hamburg.

Roadmap, in plain English

Now: candidates use it free, see ranked matches, save jobs, get a weekly digest.

Soon: companies see who saved their roles and can reach out without spamming everyone else. Mutual interest model. Same idea Hinge uses for dating, applied to jobs.

Later: a paid tier for candidates who want full anonymity until they mutually match.

If you build with me, hire from us, or just want to compare notes on job platforms, drop a line.
