Senior Software Engineer to build and own agentic systems for AI-assisted security.
- •StackHawk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and own the agentic systems that power their AI-assisted security platform.
- •This role involves designing and implementing the core loop for finding, fixing, and verifying vulnerabilities, and integrating with developer tools.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and build the find, fix, and verify loop for agentic security workflows.
- •Build and own the tool layer coding agents use to reach the platform.
- •Extend open-source agent skills and perform context engineering for AI models.
- •Build eval harnesses for non-deterministic systems and measure performance improvements.
- •Develop core product features and supporting services in a microservices architecture.
- •Requirements 6+ years building and shipping production SaaS software.
- •Deep experience in at least one statically typed language (Python, TypeScript, Go, or Rust preferred).
- •Experience with microservices in a modern cloud environment, containers, and container orchestration.
- •Experience building agent loops, writing evals for non-deterministic output, and performing context engineering.
- •Strong API design instincts and a passion for automation and automated testing.
