Senior Software Engineer to build and optimize distributed data systems and the Apache Hudi transactional engine.
- •Onehouse is building the industry’s most interoperable data lakehouse through a cloud-native managed service built on Apache Hudi.
- •We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to productionize the next generation of our data tech stack and accelerate our open source enterprise flywheel.
- •Key Responsibilities Productionize the next generation of our data tech stack by building software and data features.
- •Optimize Apache Hudi's transactional engine for diverse customer workloads.
- •Act as an SME on database internals, query engines, storage, and stream processing.
- •Requirements Strong object-oriented design and coding skills (Java and/or C/C++ on UNIX/Linux). 5+ years of experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
- •Ability to embrace ambiguous problems and articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- •Ability to prioritize feature development and tech debt with urgency and speed.
- •Ability to solve complex programming/optimization problems and quickly prototype solutions.
