About the role
TL;DR
Build and optimize distributed data systems and the Apache Hudi transactional engine.
- •Onehouse is building the industry’s most interoperable data lakehouse through a cloud-native managed service built on Apache Hudi.
- •We are seeking talented Software Engineers to join our mission-driven team and contribute to the development of large-scale data systems.
- •Key Responsibilities Productionize the next generation of our data tech stack by building software and data features.
- •Optimize Apache Hudi's transactional engine for diverse customer workloads.
- •Design and implement new indexing schemes for incremental data processing and analytical query performance.
- •Solve complex optimization problems to improve the efficiency of distributed data processing algorithms.
- •Requirements Strong object-oriented design and coding skills in Java and/or C/C++ on a UNIX or Linux platform.
- •Experience with the inner workings of distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
- •Ability to embrace ambiguous problems and articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- •Ability to solve complex programming/optimization problems and quickly prototype solutions.
