TL;DR
DevSecOps Engineer to build and mature application security program.
- •Virta Health is seeking a DevSecOps engineer to help build and mature their application security program.
- •You will implement best practices and embed security principles across the organization, working closely with the security lead.
- •Key Responsibilities Improve security design within GCP and Kubernetes.
- •Champion secure development by integrating security best practices into the SDLC.
- •Build and automate security tooling for vulnerability detection and remediation.
- •Refine access control and strengthen network security.
- •Develop and communicate security policies and standards.
- •Requirements Experience securing cloud-native applications and infrastructure, especially Kubernetes and GCP.
- •Strong grasp of networking, IAM, encryption, and web application vulnerabilities.
- •Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- •Development experience with Go and/or Python. 5-7+ years of experience, with 2+ at a high-growth startup.
