About the role
TL;DR
Manage GL accounting operations, close processes, and intercompany activities.
- •Join the Snowflake Finance team and help scale our global finance and accounting operations.
- •We are seeking a strong GL Accounting Manager to support our global corporate accounting team.
- •Key Responsibilities Own month-end and quarter-end close procedures for assigned accounting areas.
- •Evaluate and operationalize complex, non-routine transactions.
- •Manage intercompany activities across legal entities.
- •Leverage AI-powered financial tools to implement automated workflows.
- •Maintain accounting policies, process documentation, and SOX-compliant internal controls.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA highly preferred. 7+ years of progressive experience in intercompany accounting, cost accounting, or public accounting.
- •Deep technical knowledge of U.S.
- •GAAP and SOX internal control requirements.
- •Experience using ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle Fusion.
- •Advanced Excel skills; SQL for data analysis is a plus.
