- •This role serves as a clinical liaison, bridging scanning clinicians and dermatology specialists to ensure members receive timely and appropriate care.
- •Key Responsibilities Sign off on skin lesion reviews and operationalize referral pathways.
- •Provide guidance to scanning clinicians and act as a clinical escalation point.
- •Maintain a 50% scanning clinician caseload alongside leadership duties.
- •Identify and address friction points in the dermatology service line.
- •Requirements Clinical licensure in NY (MD, DO, NP, or PA).
- •Board-certified/eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty (for physicians).
- •Experience evaluating skin findings and understanding skin cancer screening.
- •Comfort collaborating with specialist physicians and operationalizing referrals.
- •Genuine interest in dermatology and clinical leadership.
