About the role
TL;DR
Designs and validates mechanical parts and assemblies for IoT devices.
- •Augury is seeking an R&D Mechanical Engineer to design innovative and reliable IoT devices.
- •You will be responsible for the end-to-end design of new parts and assemblies, ensuring they meet challenging environmental requirements and are optimized for manufacturing.
- •Key Responsibilities Design mechanical parts and mechanisms from concept to production transfer.
- •Create and manage 3D CAD models and drawings, including GD&T.
- •Design for manufacturing methods like injection molding and machining.
- •Perform prototype validation and support system validation procedures.
- •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work with subcontractors.
- •Requirements BSc in Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 years of hands-on R&D mechanical engineering experience.
- •Experience in classic machine design, parts, assemblies, and mechanisms.
- •Proven knowledge in manufacturing methods (machining, injection molding), materials, and geometric tolerances.
- •Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Onshape, SolidWorks).
