Principal Engineer to lead ecommerce architecture and scalable solutions.
- •MOO is seeking a Principal Engineer to provide deep technical leadership across their ecommerce ecosystem, from storefront to delivery.
- •You will partner closely with engineering teams, product leadership, and the Platform group to deliver a coherent, scalable architecture and enable cross-team delivery.
- •Key Responsibilities Define architectural roadmap across the entire order journey, from storefront to customer service tooling.
- •Lead initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost-to-serve, and ensure peak trading readiness.
- •Set standards for AI-assisted development, ensuring speed without compromising quality.
- •Enable a 360-degree order view for Customer Service and Operations by standardizing data pipelines.
- •Mentor Staff and Senior Engineers, facilitate design reviews, and resolve technical conflicts.
- •Requirements Proven track record shaping architecture and delivery for complex ecommerce estates at scale.
- •Expert at designing service and event contracts, data flows, and reliability patterns.
- •Experience taking systems through peak trading and understanding failure points.
- •Considered view on AI-assisted development and team adoption.
- •Ability to align stakeholders and translate architecture into measurable business impact.
