About the role
TL;DR
Lead the People function, build HR infrastructure, and drive retention and engagement.
- •Mintlify is seeking a Head of People to build the structure, compliance foundation, and people infrastructure needed to support rapid growth.
- •This role will lead the People function, ensuring compliance, owning compensation and performance strategy, and providing insights into people health to drive retention and engagement.
- •Key Responsibilities Partner with founders on workforce planning, org design, and people strategy.
- •Improve listening infrastructure and provide weekly people-health reads to the exec team.
- •Own retention and engagement strategies to proactively address employee risk.
- •Ensure compliance across all operating jurisdictions and own policies/employee handbook.
- •Develop and own compensation philosophy, including benchmarking, comp bands, and equity refresh strategy.
- •Requirements 8-10+ years of progressive People/HR experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- •Proven track record of interventions that reduced attrition and surfaced people risk early.
- •Experience running structured listening programs and making data actionable.
- •Experience supporting a 50-150+ scaling transition and understanding inflection points.
- •Deep compensation fluency and multi-state/international employment law knowledge.
