Senior Buyer responsible for operational procurement, P2P execution, and supplier communication.
- •Humanoid is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer for an operational procurement role in Vancouver, focusing on P2P execution and supplier communication.
- •You will support the Procurement Manager and partner with global teams to ensure continuity of supply and cost performance across various commodities.
- •Key Responsibilities Conduct market research for cost savings and risk assessment.
- •Support sourcing initiatives, RFx processes, negotiations, and contract execution.
- •Drive cost, lead-time, and efficiency improvements with measurable KPIs.
- •Process requisitions and purchase orders, maintaining accurate data in SAP.
- •Resolve supplier performance issues and minimize supply continuity risks.
- •Requirements 5+ years of direct procurement experience in manufacturing, robotics, technology, aero/defense, or automotive.
- •Proven experience in scaling direct procurement functions.
- •Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related field.
- •Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms.
- •Experience with MRP/ERP systems; SAP highly desirable.
