TL;DR
Manage nuclear operations training programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.
- •As the Training Manager, you will be responsible for establishing programs and procedures and providing direct leadership of required training programs in support of licensed activities associated with uranium enrichment facility operations.
- •You will collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs to ensure safe operation and protection of workers, the public, and the environment.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop, define, and establish policies, programs, and procedures for technical training topics including enrichment facility operations, maintenance, and design control.
- •Plan and oversee training material development, approval, delivery, and revisions.
- •Hire and manage a team of trainers, potentially utilizing contract resources for initial facility start-up.
- •Consult with and advise personnel on the technical training impacts of new or proposed changes to processes, procedures, and facility designs.
- •Interact with regulatory authorities as needed to support inspections of nuclear operations and technical training programs.
- •Requirements Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- •Minimum ten years of work experience in operations training or technical training with emphasis on nuclear or other highly regulated industrial operations.
- •Expert knowledge of Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) methodologies.
- •Familiarity with e-learning platforms and learning management system tools.
- •Strong leadership and team management skills.
