The Production Planner ensures efficient production scheduling and material management.
- •The Production Planner will build and maintain the production schedule, ensuring orders are sequenced to takt, materials are confirmed, and constraints are honored.
- •Key Responsibilities Build the production schedule: orders sequenced to takt, materials confirmed, and constraints honored.
- •Own MRP hygiene: BOMs, routings, and lead times accurate enough to plan by.
- •Balance the plan daily against reality: shortages, breakdowns, and priorities replanned same-day.
- •Coordinate with supply chain and shipping so parts arrive and modules leave on schedule.
- •Requirements Experience planning production in a manufacturing plant with real material constraints.
- •Trusted MRP data due to accuracy.
- •Ability to replan quickly and communicate changes effectively.
- •Measure and drive schedule adherence.
- •Anticipate shortages a week in advance.
