- •Firework is an AI and video commerce company seeking a highly technical, hands-on Senior Accounting Manager to own the core accounting infrastructure of a growing, global, post-Series B company.
- •This role requires operating at both technical and operational levels to drive efficiency and scalability.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, driving a disciplined, accurate, and increasingly efficient GAAP close process.
- •Lead global consolidation across multiple legal entities, currencies, and jurisdictions, including intercompany accounting and eliminations.
- •Own advanced and technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, complex transactions, accounting policy, and GAAP interpretation.
- •Lead the evolution of the company’s accounting systems, integrations, and financial data architecture.
- •Partner closely with People Operations on global payroll, ensuring accurate accounting and reconciliations.
- •Requirements Active CPA required. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant experience owning close, consolidation, reporting, and technical accounting.
- •Deep knowledge of U.S.
- •GAAP and demonstrated ability to independently research and resolve complex accounting matters.
- •Prior experience in a post-Series B or later-stage, high-growth technology company.
- •Experience working with global entities, multi-entity consolidation, intercompany transactions, and international accounting operations.
