- •We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our offshore accounting operations in Colombia.
- •In this highly visible role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting functions to produce accurate monthly US GAAP financial statements for managed properties.
- •You will serve as the primary leader for a structured team of Supervisors and staff, providing mentorship, training, and operational guidance.
- •Key Responsibilities Mentor, coach, motivate, and train the offshore accounting team in Colombia.
- •Coordinate month-end close procedures and support annual audits.
- •Ensure full compliance with US GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal financial controls.
- •Review and approve monthly adjusting and accrual journal entries, daily cash transactions, and property acquisitions.
- •Prepare and review monthly/quarterly financial statements, schedules for partners/clients, and fee schedules.
- •Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. 5+ years of general accounting experience.
- •Proven experience within the real estate industry, including property-level accounting. 3+ years of team management and leadership experience.
- •Deep understanding of US GAAP, financial processes, and internal controls.
- •Advanced Excel proficiency.
- •Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
- •Familiarity with Yardi.
