About the role
TL;DR
Manage EMEA accounting operations, drive compliance, and champion automation.
- •As our Accounting Manager, EMEA, you'll take ownership of accounting operations across 7 jurisdictions and 10 legal entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency across both US GAAP and local statutory GAAPs.
- •You'll lead a team of accountants, drive audits to successful completion, and play a key role in standardizing processes across the region
- •all while championing the use of AI and automation to make our finance function smarter, faster, and more scalable.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of accountants across multiple jurisdictions, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration Own accounting compliance under both US GAAP and local statutory GAAPs Drive statutory and external audits end-to-end
- •from planning through to clean, on-time completion Standardize processes and controls across entities, replacing fragmented local practices with scalable, best-practice workflows Champion automation and AI adoption within the accounting function, identifying opportunities to eliminate manual work and increase accuracy Requirements Proven experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries/entities Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to multiple local statutory GAAPs Track record of successfully leading audits and managing external auditor relationships Experience standardizing and improving processes in a multi-entity or multi-country environment Genuine enthusiasm for AI, automation, and finance transformation
