Senior Solutions Engineer to help customers achieve security outcomes using Fastly's security offerings.

- •The Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for helping customers achieve effective security policy outcomes using Fastly's suite of security offerings.
- •This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of Fastly's security products, particularly the Fastly Next-Gen WAF, as well as expertise in web application security best practices and trends.
- •Key Responsibilities Onboarding new customers to Fastly, specialized in Fastly Security Products.
- •Deeply understand customer security requirements, and architect, implement, and maintain secure and performant Next-Gen WAF solutions.
- •Provide existing customers guidance on additional features, health checks, and performance tuning.
- •Assist with pre-sales activities, including Proof-of-Concept work and architectural guidance.
- •Requirements At least 4+ years of total experience in Solutions, Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- •Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of web application security concepts (e.g., OWASP Top 10, DDoS, and rate limiting etc).
- •Deep understanding of common internet protocols, particularly HTTP & TLS, and related troubleshooting tools and techniques.
- •Experience with project management, including analyzing a project's requirements, designing and documenting a solution, and delivering that to successful completion.
