- •Despegar is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join their Sales team in Bogota.
- •This role focuses on developing strategies and managing projects to drive commercial growth and profitability in Mexico and the region.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop strategies and action plans for commercial objectives and budget compliance.
- •Manage commercial processes and projects for continuous improvement and profitability.
- •Track strategic map, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- •Generate daily, weekly, and monthly commercial performance analysis.
- •Analyze P&L, track channel performance, and control expenses.
- •Develop cross-market and cross-channel projects.
- •Set commercial team goals based on strategy and store performance.
- •Calculate sales force commissions and bonuses.
- •Participate in campaign planning, goal setting, and results tracking.
- •Requirements Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- •Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence, Commercial Business Analyst, or Commercial Strategy Analyst roles.
- •Advanced Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Power BI, and App Script skills.
- •Experience with AI applied to business (Claude or Gemini).
- •Proactive, results-oriented professionals with strong analytical and adaptation skills.
