About the role
TL;DR
Lead a team to manage and scale Coupa's Kubernetes cloud platform, focusing on automation and FinOps.
- •As the Senior Manager of the Kubernetes Platform, you will lead the platform engineering team responsible for the backbone of Coupa's modern cloud infrastructure.
- •You will drive the strategic vision for platform automation, resilience, and FinOps alignment across large clusters.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Platform and Kubernetes Engineers.
- •Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Coupa Container Platform.
- •Drive the adoption of automated continuous platform optimization tools to eliminate human toil.
- •Partner closely with FinOps, Finance, and DevOps leadership to establish budgets and forecast growth.
- •Oversee the operational health, security, and compliance of the enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure.
- •Requirements Proven experience managing and scaling high-performing Platform, DevOps, or SRE engineering teams.
- •Strong technical background in managing Kubernetes at an enterprise scale (EKS/GKE).
- •Strategic understanding of intelligent resource automation, FinOps principles, and modern cloud-native cost management.
- •Experience driving the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated CI/CD practices.
- •Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
