About the role
TL;DR
Technical expert driving customer success and sales cycle for Cloudflare's Public Sector clients.
- •As a Senior Customer Engineer, you will be the technical expert throughout the sales cycle, working with Public Sector prospects and customers to ensure their success on the Cloudflare platform.
- •You will leverage your technical expertise to find solutions, train customers, and support their long-term technology strategy.
- •Key Responsibilities Drive technical discussions and implementations to generate new business and expand existing business.
- •Qualify prospect and customer use cases, discover technical requirements, lead demonstrations, and design solutions.
- •Advise existing customers on technical best practices and strategic guidance for Cloudflare products.
- •Engage with prospects and customers via remote mechanisms and occasional travel for meetings and events.
- •Requirements Demonstrated understanding of internet technologies: OSI Model layers 1-7, Routing TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP(S), SSL / TLS.
- •Comfort with on-premise infrastructure and networking configurations.
- •Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or consulting role.
- •Technical curiosity and passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- •Strong project management, relationship building, and EQ skills.
