- •Cloudflare is seeking a Principal Customer Engineer to act as a trusted advisor, owning the technical relationship with enterprise clients from discovery through long-term adoption.
- •This quota-carrying role leverages AI-augmented workflows to focus on architectural design and driving measurable business outcomes.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and Proofs of Concepts.
- •Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
- •Own the long-term technical relationship, ensuring alignment between customer goals and product roadmap.
- •Carry a variable quota, driving platform adoption, retaining revenue, and identifying expansion opportunities.
- •Leverage AI agents and internal platforms to automate routine tasks.
- •Requirements Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering).
- •Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
- •Proven track record in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
- •Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills.
