About the role
TL;DR
Analyze and improve billing, fraud, and operational systems for a high-scale technology business.
- •Cloudflare's FinTech Engineering team builds and runs the software and systems that make Cloudflare run efficiently and enable our customers and partners to do business with us.
- •This role sits at the intersection of billing systems, fraud, and operations.
- •Key Responsibilities Investigate fraud and payment abuse, tracing how bad actors got through and quantifying impact.
- •Own root cause analysis for billing issues and ensure engineering fixes them accordingly.
- •Ensure new product integrations bill correctly from payment to revenue accounting.
- •Own month-end reconciliation and investigate differences between billing and accounting systems.
- •Design scalable solutions to operational problems and build your own tooling using SQL and scripts.
- •Requirements Experience at a high scale technology business, ideally with a self-serve motion.
- •Strong SQL proficiency and comfort working with large datasets.
- •Familiarity with Python for scripting and light automation.
- •Hands-on with AI tooling in your daily workflow.
- •Program management and process improvement experience.
