About the role
TL;DR
Lead the technical vision and execution for the ToolHound platform, focusing on AI-native rebuilds.
- •Beacon Software is seeking a Tech Lead for ToolHound, an embedded role focused on reimagining a mature tool-and-asset-management platform with AI at its core.
- •You will own the technology end-to-end, driving the technical roadmap and leading the team.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the technical and product roadmap, translating business priorities into an engineering plan.
- •Drive all technical aspects including architecture, code quality, security, and performance.
- •Ship AI features, including natural-language assistants, from plan to production.
- •Lead and mentor the existing engineering team, establishing best practices.
- •Increase shipping velocity and harden the codebase through modernization and investment in automation.
- •Requirements Deep, current .NET expertise (C# / ASP.NET Core) is non-negotiable.
- •Genuine generalist with the ability to quickly learn new languages, stacks, and clouds.
- •Proficiency in cloud environments and SQL database design, deployment, and tuning.
- •Hands-on experience with cross-platform mobile development (.NET MAUI or similar).
- •Experience shipping production software on foundation models (LLMs) and understanding of multi-tenant AI safety.
