About the role
TL;DR
Assist legal department and senior management with various legal issues.
- •Assist the General Counsel, legal department, and senior management with legal issues.
- •Key Responsibilities Draft, negotiate, and review various contracts.
- •Serve as legal advisor to internal departments and committees.
- •Maintain and oversee relationships with external counsel.
- •Work with revenue operations and legal operations to improve contractual workflows.
- •Partner with company leaders to identify practical and legal risk.
- •Requirements 4-year college degree and a Juris Doctorate degree.
- •Active membership in good standing with a State Bar. 3+ years of experience as an attorney focusing on transactional, commercial, or corporate law.
- •Proven experience negotiating contracts across various risk and value levels.
- •Experience designing and maintaining legal resources.
- •Prior experience with tech industry clients and familiarity with global data privacy and data protection laws.
- •Familiarity with contract management software (CMS), with specific experience in Ironclad and/or Zip (preferred but not strictly required).
- •Experience advising clients with global operations, understanding the nuances of international business.
- •Excellent research and project management skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes.
- •High levels of organization and self-motivation, with the capability to track and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
