About the role
TL;DR
Provide legal support for complex international employment lifecycle matters.
- •Provide legal support for complex employment lifecycle execution across Justworks’ EOR offering, focusing on sensitive, complex, or escalated matters.
- •Serve as the legal point of contact for selected lifecycle matters, partnering with regional employment counsel and various internal teams.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead legal workstream for complex EOR lifecycle matters like terminations, redundancies, and disputes.
- •Build and maintain lifecycle standards, playbooks, and escalation paths for operational teams.
- •Advise Product and Operations on lifecycle legal requirements and workflow logic.
- •Manage outside counsel on complex lifecycle matters and employment disputes.
- •Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree and admitted to practice.
- •Minimum of 5+ years of substantive employment law experience, preferably including in-house or international counseling.
- •Deep experience advising on employee lifecycle matters across multiple jurisdictions.
