- •Canonical is seeking a Security Risk Management Specialist to help define and execute a broad strategic vision for the security risk program.
- •This role involves identifying, tracking, and reducing security risks across the organization and contributing to the security of the open-source ecosystem.
- •Key Responsibilities Define Canonical's security risk management standards and playbooks.
- •Analyze and improve Canonical's security risk practices.
- •Evaluate, select, and implement new security requirements, tools, and practices.
- •Develop Canonical security risk learning and development materials.
- •Apply statistical models to risk frameworks (such as FAIR).
- •Requirements Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path.
- •Deep personal motivation to be at the forefront of technology security.
- •Excellent business English writing and presentation skills.
- •Expertise in threat modelling and risk management frameworks.
- •Experience in Secure Development Lifecycle and Security by Design methodology.
