About the role
TL;DR
Lead a team of engineers to develop and evolve Riskified's Adaptive Checkout product.
- •As an engineering manager at Riskified, you will lead a talented group of experienced engineers in creating a mission-critical suite of services in the payment fraud domain.
- •The team is working to enable new Riskified product offerings, working closely with Product managers, Research and Analytics teams to validate this new offering and drive a new business forward.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead your team in delivering high-quality products to Riskified’s production environments and ensure production health.
- •Lead the development and evolution of Adaptive Checkout, ensuring a seamless experience for legitimate customers while adding appropriate friction only when necessary.
- •Drive innovation by identifying and implementing AI-driven tools and methodologies to improve team productivity and product capabilities.
- •Plan ahead with the team on how to deliver value in the payment optimization domain.
- •Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and other stakeholders in the creation of the team’s and company roadmap.
- •Requirements 3+ years of management experience in leading a team of engineers in production
- •Must 7+ years of hands-on experience in developing high-scale distributed systems/microservices
- •Must AI Enthusiast: Proven interest in emerging AI tools and a track record of implementing new technologies to improve workflows or products.
- •Experience in Agile project management and Scrum management working in a full CI/CD DevOps culture environment.
- •Experience in cloud-native microservices architecture or SaaS environments.
- •Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- •B.Sc. in Computer Science or any equivalent degree/experience.
