About the role
TL;DR
Develop and modernize audit methodologies for financial audits.
- •As a Senior Auditor, you will develop and modernize audit methodologies, ensuring independence and quality in financial audits.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop audit methodologies based on ISA and IDW PS standards.
- •Modernize substantive audit procedures using tools and data analysis.
- •Ensure independence, objectivity, and confidentiality in audit processes.
- •Document audit findings and ensure compliance with IDW PS 450.
- •Engage with the professional community and contribute to audit methodology discussions.
- •Requirements At least 6 years of experience in financial audits, preferably from Big 4 or a mid-sized audit firm.
- •Strong knowledge of IDW PS, ISA, and HGB standards.
- •Ability to think clearly and methodically about audit logic, evidence, and risks.
- •Fluency in German and English.
- •Willingness to shape the audit profession beyond traditional roles.
