About the role
TL;DR
Lead technical engagements for key customers and drive Docker's container and AI strategy.
- •Docker is seeking a highly consultative Principal Solutions Architect to support its most important customers.
- •This role is critical for driving technical and business value through customer technical leadership and field technical leadership.
- •Key Responsibilities Accelerate customer container and AI journeys, focusing on developer workflows.
- •Create and manage engagement plans for existing and new Docker offerings.
- •Oversee rapid prototyping engagements with engineering and customer teams.
- •Deliver high-impact enablement and best practices content to diverse customer audiences.
- •Be a thought leader for a particular area of responsibility, gathering field feedback and coordinating with product/engineering teams.
- •Requirements Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solution Architect in enterprise environments.
- •Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
- •Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, DevOps, and modern application architectures.
- •Experience developing application code and understanding developer challenges.
- •Experience with Docker, container ecosystems, or adjacent technologies strongly preferred.
