About the role
TL;DR
Build and lead Beacon's enterprise security program from scratch.
- •Beacon Software is seeking its first dedicated security engineer to build and lead the enterprise security program from the ground up.
- •This role will focus on preventing, detecting, and responding to threats across corporate and cloud environments.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and scale the security stack across a multi-cloud, multi-SaaS environment.
- •Own prevention, detection, and response across corporate and cloud environments.
- •Lead incident response readiness and execution.
- •Set and confirm security standards for identity and access management.
- •Run security across the portfolio, including baseline audits and SaaS risk management.
- •Requirements Deep, hands-on security engineering experience across endpoint, detection and response, identity, cloud, SaaS, and email.
- •Ability to build tooling and automation from scratch.
- •Experience in threat modeling, secure design, detection quality, and IR rigor.
- •Comfortable in greenfield environments and ambiguity.
- •Highly independent and confident in representing security to various stakeholders.
