TL;DR
Facilities Technician responsible for maintenance, safety, and shipping/receiving.
- •The Facilities Technician supports the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the organization’s physical workspace while also managing shipping and receiving activities.
- •This role ensures the facility is functional, efficient, and well-maintained.
- •Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems.
- •Troubleshoot issues and complete repairs using sound judgment and technical skill.
- •Conduct regular facility inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs.
- •Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips.
- •Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- •Requirements 3+ years working knowledge of facility operations and maintenance.
- •Proficiency in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- •Ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using independent judgment.
- •Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- •Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and climb for extended periods; ability to lift 50+ lbs.
