TL;DR
Design, specify, implement, and validate power systems for autonomous maritime platforms.
- •Saronic Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer
- •Power Systems with deep experience in the design, specification, implementation, and validation of vessel/vehicle power systems.
- •This position will play a key role in developing and evaluating ruggedized electrical power generation and distribution architectures for autonomous maritime platforms.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the design, specification, and validation of power generation, distribution, and conversion systems for autonomous maritime platforms.
- •Develop and document system requirements and specifications for power subsystems and components.
- •Create engineering drawings such as one-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- •Support prototype builds, troubleshooting, and commissioning through lab and field testing.
- •Mentor junior engineers in power system fundamentals and design principles.
- •Requirements Experience in the design, specification, implementation, and validation of vessel/vehicle power systems.
- •Proven track record designing or specifying electrical power systems for marine, automotive, defense, aerospace, or mining vehicles.
- •Experience with system integration, environmental qualification, and manufacturability.
- •Ability to create and review engineering analyses such as electric power load analyses and short-circuit calculations.
- •Familiarity with designing or specifying components for reliable operation in harsh environments.
