About the role
TL;DR
Design, develop, and optimize optical components for integrated photonic circuits.
- •Pasqal designs and develops Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) and associated software tools.
- •Aeponyx, a subsidiary of Pasqal, specializes in silicon nitride integrated photonics for telecommunications, data centers, and quantum technologies.
- •This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing optical components for integrated photonic circuits (PICs) in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, simulate, fabricate, integrate, and test optical components (lenses, SOAs, SHGs, fiber optics).
- •Produce and review fabrication drawings considering manufacturing processes and PIC integration.
- •Analyze test data and optimize designs for high-volume production.
- •Requirements Master's degree or PhD in physics, engineering physics, or a related field.
- •Knowledge of optical simulation tools (e.g., Zemax).
- •Experience in optical system design.
- •Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, precision, and thoroughness.
- •Practical experience working in a team and autonomy.
