- •Quaise Energy is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design, develop, and integrate control and instrumentation systems for their innovative drilling technology.
- •This role involves hands-on software and hardware development in a fast-paced environment to accelerate the technology's path to market.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, development, and integration of complex control and instrumentation systems.
- •Develop and maintain PLC-based control software using WAGO and Siemens platforms.
- •Design and implement robust interlock, safety, and fault-detection systems for high-power equipment.
- •Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize integrated control systems in lab and field environments.
- •Prepare and review technical documentation including software architecture descriptions and test reports.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 5+ years of progressive experience in controls, automation, or instrumentation roles.
- •Extensive experience with PLC, DAQ systems, and instrumentation hardware selection.
- •Hands-on development, wiring, soldering, and troubleshooting experience.
- •Experience creating and reviewing electrical schematics and control documentation.
