About the role
TL;DR
Develop and produce custom events, tentpoles, and franchises for Vox Media.
- •Develop concepts and budgets for custom events, tentpoles and franchises.
- •Act as senior producer on tentpoles, custom events, editorial initiatives, marketing partnerships and key additional projects.
- •Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Experiential leadership, GMs, Vox Creative, Network development, editorial teams and sales to develop concepts tied to key events, cultural moments and/or launches.
- •Manage event production elements including P&L development and budget tracking, production schedules and timelines, venue and/or platform management, on-site/virtual branding elements, food and beverage, talent booking/prep, guest engagement and sponsor activations.
- •Lead internal brainstorms and concept development for RFPs, RFIs and proactive event pitches for tentpoles, bespoke activations, franchises and editorial initiatives.
- •Work closely with and mentor junior team members.
- •Research industry standards and partnership opportunity, trends, event concepts (both virtual and in-person), and monitor competitive brands' events.
