- •Vizcom is seeking a Research Engineer to bridge the gap between digital design concepts and physical manufacturing.
- •This role will define and own an emerging research direction focused on translating generated designs into manufacturable products.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop and own the design-to-manufacturing roadmap.
- •Research and implement approaches for translating generated 3D geometry into editable, manufacturable formats.
- •Connect rendered appearance to real-world material and color specifications.
- •Explore challenges and solutions for softgoods manufacturing, including pattern generation.
- •Integrate physical constraints into the generation process.
- •Requirements Deep expertise in computational geometry, geometry processing, or 3D reconstruction/generation.
- •Hands-on experience with modern generative, reconstruction, or simulation methods.
- •Strong software engineering skills to build working systems from research ideas.
- •Experience designing experiments for problems without established benchmarks.
- •Comfort working on open-ended research problems.
