About the role
TL;DR
Lead the design and development of scalable data platforms and pipelines.
- •True Anomaly seeks a Principal Data Engineer to lead the design, building, and evolution of scalable data platforms.
- •This role will solve complex data engineering challenges and guide the technical direction of the Enterprise Data Platform.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products using Python and SQL.
- •Build and optimize ELT/ETL processes and data models using cloud data platforms.
- •Establish and apply engineering best practices for data quality, testing, monitoring, and CI/CD.
- •Own data engineering projects end-to-end, from design through production support.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into reliable data solutions.
- •Requirements 10+ years of experience in data engineering and software engineering.
- •Strong hands-on Python and SQL experience. 3+ years of experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or both.
- •Strong understanding of data engineering, data architecture, and ELT/ETL.
- •Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers.
