Support the development and operation of a new private pension product, focusing on client experience and operational processes.
•Germany's private pension system is being rebuilt with the Altersvorsorgedepot (AVD), and Upvest is building the operational infrastructure for fintechs and banks to offer it.
•As an AVD Client Experience Intern, you will help design and run the processes for this new regulated financial product from the ground up.
•Key Responsibilities Support clients by preparing clear answers to user questions about subsidies, transfers, and payouts.
•Assist with day-to-day AVD operations, including contract registration and contribution management.
•Help build and document operational playbooks, workflows, and error catalogues.
•Support error handling and reconciliation processes, identifying patterns for root cause fixes.
•Provide feedback on processes, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
•Requirements Fluent in German (C1 or above) and comfortable working in English.
•Structured and precise with a keen eye for detail.
•Curious about rules and regulations, willing to read and understand them.
•Comfortable with ambiguity and asking good questions.
•Confident with spreadsheets and AI tooling.
•Available for a minimum of 6 months and based in Berlin.
