- •Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Flight Software Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic team.
- •This role involves guiding and mentoring engineers in all aspects of spacecraft lifetime, from design to operation.
- •Key Responsibilities Tasking and oversight of Flight Software Engineers.
- •Attend program meetings and develop work breakdowns.
- •Function as a lead program software engineer when necessary.
- •Manage direct reports, provide technical mentorship, and conduct performance reviews.
- •Provide presentations, reports, and status updates to upper management.
- •Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace, or equivalent.
- •Minimum of 8 years of direct industry experience in embedded software in Aerospace, Space, or similar.
- •Minimum of 3 years of experience managing engineering teams in embedded software.
- •Experience developing software in C/C++, deploying, and testing on target environments.
- •Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
