About the role
TL;DR
Lead strategic sourcing of critical components and assemblies for a robotics product.
- •At Sunday, we're developing personal robots to reclaim hours lost to repetitive tasks.
- •We are seeking a Global Supply Manager to lead strategic sourcing of critical components and assemblies for our first product, Memo.
- •Key Responsibilities Define and own category strategies for critical components and assemblies.
- •Lead RFx processes and negotiate commercial agreements.
- •Manage business risk through assessment of capacity, geopolitics, logistics, and supplier roadmaps.
- •Partner with engineering on component decisions to implement Design for Supply Chain (DfSC).
- •Achieve or exceed cost targets through should-cost modeling and market analysis.
- •Requirements 5+ years in sourcing or procurement in high volume consumer electronics.
- •Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- •Experience leading cross-functional work-streams with engineering, operations, finance, legal, and NPI teams.
- •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- •Willingness to travel domestically and internationally often with short notice.
