- •Solaris is Europe’s leading embedded finance platform.
- •The Head of Product & Engineering is a dual-domain leadership role responsible for driving Product Foundations and Business Enablement initiatives, owning both product vision and engineering delivery for foundational capabilities.
- •Key Responsibilities Serve as the ultimate owner of both the product roadmap and engineering execution for foundational technical products.
- •Lead, mentor, and scale teams composed of Product Managers and Software Engineers.
- •Oversee the development and scaling of critical technical capabilities like Authentication, API proxies, Policy engines, and IAM.
- •Lead teams responsible for developer productivity, managing tools like Backstage and defining SRE capabilities.
- •Drive the internal automation platform to support and scale various business units across Solaris.
- •Requirements Proven experience as a senior engineering leader with hands-on architectural experience in distributed systems, microservices, and Core APIs.
- •Demonstrated success in product leadership, specifically managing internal platforms or developer tools. 3+ years of experience leading product and engineering organizations.
- •Experience implementing and managing internal developer portals (like Spotify's Backstage).
- •Strong understanding of IAM, authentication flows, API gateways/proxies, and SRE best practices.
