- •Socure's legal team is seeking a Commercial Counsel to advise on a broad range of commercial matters and partner with various internal teams.
- •This role offers an opportunity to shape the company's legal function and contribute to eliminating identity fraud.
- •Key Responsibilities Advise on commercial matters, contract negotiations, risk, and compliance.
- •Review, draft, and negotiate technology and commercial contracts.
- •Identify and resolve legal and regulatory risks related to IP, licensing, data use, privacy, and compliance.
- •Become an expert on Socure's products and business models.
- •Prepare and improve template agreements and operational guidance.
- •Requirements JD from an accredited law school and active Bar membership. 4-8 years of experience negotiating SaaS, technology, licensing, partner, and vendor agreements.
- •Working knowledge of consumer data privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, FCRA).
- •Comfort using AI tools in contract workflows.
