About the role
TL;DR
Commercial Counsel to scale Rogo's contracting function and legal infrastructure.
- •Rogo is seeking a business-minded Commercial Counsel to partner with the Head of Legal and build out the company's contracting function.
- •This role is crucial for scaling Rogo's legal infrastructure to support rapid growth.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end negotiations of high-value MSAs and commercial agreements.
- •Own negotiations with data and content providers, including data-licensing agreements.
- •Partner with Sales, Product, Security, and Operations teams on business-aligned agreements.
- •Implement and manage commercial contracting infrastructure, including legal tech tools and templates.
- •Requirements Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction. 3-6 years of legal experience, preferably with top-tier law firm training or in-house experience at a high-growth SaaS, data, or AI company.
- •Demonstrated experience owning and closing commercial agreements independently.
- •Strong working knowledge of IP licensing, privacy, data-use rights, and AI.
- •Experience implementing and managing legal tech tools.
