About the role
TL;DR
Analyze and optimize quantum processor performance through modeling and testing.
- •Pasqal designs and develops quantum processors (QPUs) based on neutral atoms manipulated with lasers.
- •This role focuses on measuring and optimizing the performance of these complex hardware systems.
- •Key Responsibilities Analyze QPU performance using mathematical and physical models and simulations.
- •Propose new hardware/software designs or techniques to improve performance.
- •Define and execute test plans to validate performance gains and new features.
- •Collaborate closely with other hardware teams and support manufacturing.
- •Requirements Master's degree in Physics with 2-3 years of industry experience, or a PhD.
- •Knowledge of experimental physics, particularly atom-light interaction.
- •Strong interest in experimental physics and physics modeling.
- •Proficiency in Python for data analysis and simulations.
