About the role

TL;DR

Develops and optimizes physical operations for neutral-atom quantum processing units.

  • Pasqal designs and develops Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) and associated software tools.
  • This role focuses on developing and validating the physical operations executed during the computation phase of neutral-atom QPUs.
  • Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize processing operations on QPUs.
  • Apply optimal control methods under realistic hardware constraints.
  • Identify error sources, build noise models, and establish error budgets.
  • Propagate operation-level errors to digital circuit performance.
  • Contribute to medium/long-term processing roadmap.
  • Requirements PhD in AMO physics or Quantum Information.
  • Solid understanding of neutral-atom platforms and their impact on operations.
  • Ability to model real-world imperfections.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, data analysis, and simulation.
  • Autonomy, rigor, collaboration, and clear communication skills.
