About the role
TL;DR
Develops and optimizes physical operations for neutral-atom quantum processing units.
- •Pasqal designs and develops Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) and associated software tools.
- •This role focuses on developing and validating the physical operations executed during the computation phase of neutral-atom QPUs.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize processing operations on QPUs.
- •Apply optimal control methods under realistic hardware constraints.
- •Identify error sources, build noise models, and establish error budgets.
- •Propagate operation-level errors to digital circuit performance.
- •Contribute to medium/long-term processing roadmap.
- •Requirements PhD in AMO physics or Quantum Information.
- •Solid understanding of neutral-atom platforms and their impact on operations.
- •Ability to model real-world imperfections.
- •Strong programming skills in Python, data analysis, and simulation.
- •Autonomy, rigor, collaboration, and clear communication skills.
