- •Oura is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Data Scientist to develop and commercialize cutting-edge ML models for illness detection using wearable health data.
- •You will own projects end-to-end, set technical direction, and collaborate with product and engineering teams.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop and deploy advanced ML pipelines and models for illness detection, focusing on time-series analysis.
- •Drive the commercialization of ML models, serving as the primary science partner for illness algorithm work.
- •Design and execute rigorous statistical analyses for model performance evaluation and monitoring.
- •Conduct exploratory research to identify and characterize novel health sensing features.
- •Monitor and improve the performance of production algorithms using large-scale member data.
- •Requirements PhD in a relevant quantitative field plus 3+ years of industry ML/data science experience. 5+ years of advanced programming experience in Python and SQL.
- •Extensive experience with ML techniques including deep learning, time-series analysis, and signal processing.
- •Demonstrated experience in the full lifecycle of ML model development and commercialization.
- •Proven ability to operate independently and drive projects with limited direction.
