TL;DR
Lead threat intelligence and hunting for a SaaS security platform.
- •Obsidian Security is seeking a highly technical and passionate Threat Intelligence Lead to build and lead the threat intelligence function.
- •This role will translate external threat reporting into actionable intelligence for product and corporate security, and conduct threat hunts.
- •Key Responsibilities Collect, correlate, and synthesize threat intelligence from various sources.
- •Assess the applicability of emerging threats to Obsidian's product and infrastructure.
- •Produce timely intelligence products like threat advisories and actor profiles.
- •Track threat actors targeting SaaS, cloud, and identity infrastructure.
- •Run structured, hypothesis-driven threat hunts across corporate and product environments.
- •Requirements At least 6 years of experience in threat intelligence, threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response, or security operations.
- •Demonstrated ability to analyze threat data and produce actionable assessments.
- •Hands-on threat hunting experience across cloud, SaaS, and endpoint telemetry.
- •Working knowledge of security capabilities and attack surfaces of modern IT and SaaS systems.
- •Experience with SIEM query languages and scripting for automation (e.g., Python).
