About the role
TL;DR
Evaluate, structure, and execute financing transactions for renewable energy projects.
- •Nexamp is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join its Capital Markets team.
- •You will play a central role in evaluating, structuring, executing, and managing financing transactions across Nexamp’s distributed generation and utility-scale project portfolios.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the development, maintenance, and review of complex financial models for projects.
- •Evaluate and model debt, tax equity, tax credit transfer, and other structured financing alternatives.
- •Lead workstreams in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of financing transactions.
- •Own transaction execution plans, closing checklists, and deliverable tracking.
- •Prepare and review transaction presentations and financing summaries.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- •At least 3 years of relevant experience in project finance, capital markets, investment banking, or a related field.
- •Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise.
- •Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- •Strong understanding of project finance principles.
