TL;DR
Supervise laboratory staff executing cfDNA extraction, library preparation, and NGS workflows.
- •Join Natera’s Oncology Research Use Only (RUO) team as a Supervisor for the Signatera Plasma Team.
- •You will direct laboratory staff executing cell-free DNA (cfDNA) extraction, library preparation, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows to advance our personalized Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) assays.
- •Key Responsibilities Oversee daily lab operations and staff scheduling for DNA extractions, library preparation, and NGS workflows.
- •Conduct performance evaluations and guide career development for team members.
- •Execute sample processing alongside the team to maintain throughput and serve as the primary technical point of contact for troubleshooting.
- •Drive process development, method/instrument testing, and identify/resolve lab process deviations.
- •Draft, generate, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain precise lab records.
- •Requirements BS/BA in a biological science or equivalent. 3 to 4 years of related laboratory experience.
- •Prior team management experience is highly preferred.
- •Hands-on experience with nucleic acid techniques, library preparation, and NGS platforms.
- •Proficiency with LIMS, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace applications.
